At our school, we are committed to helping every student make well-informed, confident decisions about their future. Whether you’re planning your next steps after GCSEs or considering your pathway beyond sixth form, we provide access to high-quality, impartial careers advice and guidance to support you every step of the way.
Meetings
Personal Careers Guidance Meetings
To ensure all students receive personalised support, every Year 11 and Year 12 student will have a one-to-one careers guidance meeting with an external Level 7 qualified careers adviser.
These sessions offer:
- Impartial, confidential advice about your education and career options
- Support in exploring college, sixth form, university, apprenticeship, or employment pathways
- Help identifying your skills, strengths, and interests
- Guidance with applications, CVs, interviews, and goal setting
This independent service ensures that you receive professional guidance focused solely on your best interests and future success.
Additional Support and Appointments
If you are a student in Key Stage 4 or 5 (Years 10–13) and would like an additional careers meeting, please contact: Ms Shanahan, Careers Lead
Ms Shanahan will do her best to arrange an extra session with our external adviser or provide in-school support to help you move forward confidently.
