Careers

Welcome

Your future starts here

We believe careers education isn't something that happens in isolation — it's woven into everything we do. From the subjects we teach to the conversations we have, we want every student to see the connection between their learning today and the life they're building for tomorrow.

Our Vision

Guided by Success for All, we are committed to empowering every student to make informed, ambitious, and meaningful decisions about their future — helping young people connect what they learn in school to the world beyond it, whatever path that might look like for them.

How we support you

  • Real-world experience
  • Work experience, enterprise projects, business mentors, and industry visits to bring careers to life.
  • Guidance and planning
  • One-to-one careers guidance, CV and personal statement support, and help navigating UCAS and apprenticeship routes.
  • Expert connections
  • We partner with local employers, colleges, and universities to give students direct access to labour market insight.
  • Interview readiness
  • Mock interviews, careers seminars, workshops, and soft skills embedded across all year groups.

Sixth Form — Dedicated post-16 support

Sixth Form students receive tailored support as they apply to university, higher-level apprenticeships, or other post-18 pathways. We work with each student individually to help them present themselves confidently and make well-informed choices about their next steps.

Our Commitment to High-Quality Careers Education

Our careers programme is built to the highest standards, ensuring every student receives a broad, meaningful, and individually tailored experience from Year 7 through to Sixth Form.

Careers education embedded across the curriculum

Careers isn't a standalone lesson — it's part of how we teach. Students explore the connections between their subjects and the world of work throughout their time at school, building awareness and ambition at every stage.

Impartial, informed guidance

Every student has access to independent, high-quality careers guidance. Through one-to-one appointments, external provider visits, and current labour market information, we ensure students can make confident, well-informed decisions about their future.

Inclusive provision for all

We are committed to ensuring that every student — regardless of background, ability, or circumstance — has equal access to the full range of careers support and opportunities we provide.

Character, skills, and economic wellbeing

We actively develop the skills students need beyond the classroom — resilience, confidence, financial awareness, and professional conduct — embedding these qualities across all key stages as part of a broad personal development offer.

Strong links with employers and further education

We maintain active, meaningful partnerships with local businesses, colleges, and universities, giving students direct insight into the world of work and the full range of pathways available to them after school.
