Exam Preparation

Be prepared for your exams

  • Check your timetable. Individual timetables can be accessed by logging onto Edulink One.  Make a note of the time of your exam, the exam room and your seat number.
  • Bring your exam card to every exam. This is needed so that the invigilators can identify you and ensure attendance registers are accurate.  If you forget or misplace your card, please inform the Exams Officer as soon as possible.
  • Have the right equipment. All students are responsible for bringing their own equipment for use in their exams. This must be in a clear pencil case or plastic bag. We would suggest that all equipment is kept together and is brought to EVERY exam.
  •  BLACK PENS ONLY  (blue is not permitted), pencils, ruler, rubber, calculator, mathematical equipment - protractor, compass etc.
  • Know your seat number. Your seat number is visible on your individual timetable and lists are displayed on the boards outside the Jubilee building.
  • Know what you are allowed to take into the exam, i.e. water in a clear plastic bottle, label removed, clear pencil, no unauthorised items (see unauthorised items poster), no fizzy drinks.
  • If you have any concerns regarding your exams, see the Exams Officer.

Candidate Exam Handbook

We have produced a Candidate Handbook which contains all the important information regarding exam regulations and procedures that students and parents are required to know for the academic year 1 September 2025 to 31 August 2026.
