Vision – Success for All

Our vision underlies everything we do at The Buckingham School. We want children to achieve the highest possible standards, be challenged and enjoy their school experience. This forms the foundation of all that we do, whether it is in the classroom, on the sports field, in concert, on stage or in the extensive range of other opportunities we offer our students at all stages of their education.

The foundation block on which everything in our school rests is Kindness.  We believe that Kindness to All is non-negotiable within our whole community. 

Through this shared value, we strive to create a nurturing environment where every student feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their full potential – academically, personally and socially.

The Buckingham Way is more than a set of Values – it is our culture.  It shapes how we treat one another, how we learn, and how we grow together as a community.

We strive to display three key behaviours (our Core Choices) at all times. We celebrate with students when they are able to demonstrate Respect, Responsibility and Reflection in their actions. We seek to actively promote and reward the Core Choices as behaviour we would wish to see.

Our Core Choices are Respect, Responsibility and Reflection. Through our Core Choices we can ensure that The Buckingham School is a happy and connected environment, where equality, dignity, non-discrimination and participation allow students to grow.
