Sixth Form

Our Sixth Form are housed in the Centre of Further Education (CFE), which has been developed to meet the needs and career aspirations of its students.  It is a vibrant hub of interaction and learning, with good study facilities and strong teaching across a broad range of subjects.

We offer a range of academic A Level subjects, as well as vocational BTEC courses, in order to provide our students with the opportunity to study subjects relevant to their career ambitions and which take their learning style preferences into consideration.

We provide individual careers support to ensure all of our students are ready to successfully progress to the next stage of their career journey when they graduate. They will either be guided through the UCAS application process or supported to secure an Apprenticeship opportunity or employment for after they complete Year 13.

Alongside gaining 3 or more Level 3 qualifications, there are a  number of enrichment activities available to enhance  students’ personal development, including Media Make Up and Sports Leadership courses. We encourage our  students to actively participate in student life; whether they become a member of the Student Leadership Team or a peer mentor, or contribute articles to the school newsletter, we want them to be fully engaged and take an active role in our school community.
