Applying midway through the academic year for Years 7 to 11

If you are applying midway through the year, you need to make an application for what we call an ‘In Year Admission’. The term also applies if you are intending for your child to start at the beginning of the academic year in September, in Years 8 to 11.  In other words, any admission which isn’t a transition from primary to secondary is called an ‘In Year Admission.’

If you wish to apply for a place at The Buckingham School, please contact Buckinghamshire Council's Admissions and Transport Team. This can be done by their ‘Contact Us’ form which can be found here: www.buckscc.gov.uk/contactadmissions

Buckinghamshire Council's website (Admissions & Transport) can be found here:
www.buckinghamshire.gov.uk/schools-and-learning/schools-index/school-admissions/

When Buckinghamshire Council has received the application they will contact us to establish whether we have the capacity to accept a new student into a specific year group.
