Applying mid-way through the academic year for Years 7 to 11
If you applying mid-way through the year, you need to make an application for what we call an ‘In Year Admission’. The term also applies if you are intending for your child to start at the beginning of the academic year in September, in Years 8 to 11. In other words, any admission which isn’t a transition from primary to secondary is called an ‘In Year Admission.’
If you are wishing to change to The Buckingham School from another school within Buckinghamshire, please request an In Year Admissions Form from your current school. Once completed, this should be signed by the current Headteacher and forwarded to Buckinghamshire County Council’s Admissions and Transport Department. Further details can be found at https://www.buckscc.gov.uk/services/education/school-admissions/changing-school-in-year/changing-school-if-you-are-not-moving-house/
Alternatively, please feel free to contact our Admissions Officer.
