- Cian Jones – gained an A in Criminology, Distinction in BTEC Law and a Merit in BTEC Business Studies.
A Level Psychology shows continued strength with 53% of students achieving A*-B grades.
The vocational courses also continue to be a real strength of the school with the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ) excelling. We are particularly pleased with 75% of students achieving A*-B grades.
The Extended Project is a single piece of work requiring a high degree of planning, preparation, research and autonomous working. The students' choice of topic is free. It takes the form of a dissertation and requires a detailed preparation/planning stage, the production of the report and a presentation that sums up the report. It has been praised by universities for guiding students into higher education and carries UCAS points.
The school sees a number of subjects with a 100% pass rate, including Art, English Literature, Media, Psychology, BTEC Business Studies, Computer Science, Performing Arts and Sports.
