School Equestrian Team Results

The Buckingham School Equestrian team did us proud again at the weekend at Addington Manor Equestrian Centre for the Akeley Wood School Show. We were delighted to see new members making their debut for the school this weekend competing, some of the girls covering both disciplines and those that either did one of the other (show jumping or dressage). Congratulations to you all, you did yourselves and the school proud!

Show jumping:

Some amazing individual achievements (Lauren Smith and her horse Amy), for conquering her fear, and getting around the 95cm course. A few individual and team placings too; Hollie-Anne Heir, Lauren Smith, Charlotte Smith and Katie Robinson team 2nd in the 85cm Jumping Class – with individual 1st for Katie Robinson and individual 3rd for Hollie-Anne Heir.

Katie Robinson on her second pony, Izzy Ford and Katie Gilsenan team 6th in the 85cm Jumping Class and individual 7th for Katie Gilsenan.

Hollie Anne Heir, Lauren Smith, Katie Robinson and Katie Gilsenan went out as a team in the 95cm Jumping, not in the rosettes this time but the team finished 11th. Very good jumping by all girls.

Also Amelia Gohl and Amy Wilks both made their debut for the school jumping as individuals in the 50cm, 60cm and 70cm classes with Amy Wilks just outside the rosettes, well done girls for taking part and joining the team.

Katie Robinson individual 1st in her Prelim Dressage test for which she has now qualified for the NSEA County Dressage Champs 2018 also a high place for April King in her Prelim Dressage test, just outside ribbons. April made her debut for the school too. Katie Gilsenan did good novice dressage test too.

Well done, everyone.
